Gochang County Launches 'Support Project for Revitalizing Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration'

Recruitment for Club Activities and Village Writers

Gochang County, North Jeolla Province, announced on the 28th that it is promoting various support projects to revitalize the return-to-farming and rural migration movement, aiming for mutual harmony and stable settlement between newcomers and local residents.


The county is currently recruiting participants for the "Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Club Activity Support Project" (4 groups), which encourages collaboration between newcomers and local residents, and the "Village Writer Support Project" (5 people), which promotes success stories of settlement and introduces the local area. Applications are open until the 7th of next month.

Additionally, until the 12th of next month, applications are being accepted for the "Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Talent Donation Support Project" (9 groups), which aims to strengthen harmony and bonds with local residents through volunteer activities by newcomers. A county official stated, "We expect that these support projects will help ease the burden of adapting to rural life for city dwellers moving to the region," and added, "We will continue our efforts to ensure stable settlement for newcomers and foster harmony with local residents."
