Pukyong National University Awards the 'Proud Foreign International Student Award'

Ten Outstanding International Students Selected and Awarded

The International Exchange Headquarters of Pukyong National University (Head Seo Jae-cheol) recently held the ‘Proud Pukyong National University Foreign Student Award Ceremony’ at the Miraegwan building.

The International Exchange Headquarters presented certificates and prizes to 10 foreign students graduating in the second semester of the 2024 academic year, including Dr. Zheng Xuexia.

The awardees were selected from foreign students recommended by their respective departments for outstanding research achievements such as excellent thesis presentations and academic conference awards, or for merits including excellent academic performance and contributions to the development of the university.

As of October last year, Pukyong National University has 1,752 foreign students from 68 countries enrolled in undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, integrated master’s and doctoral programs, exchange programs, training courses, and dual degree programs. To encourage the achievements of the increasing number of foreign students each year, the university has been presenting this award since last year.
