With 50 days remaining until the 64th Jeonnam Sports Festival and 62 days until the 33rd Jeonnam Para Sports Festival, the event was attended by about 400 people, including volunteers, organizing committee members, heads of organizations and social groups, as well as officials from Jeollanam-do and the Sports Council.
The event began with a performance by the Jangseong Youth Musical Club 'Harang', followed by a report on the festival preparations, presentation of volunteer appointment certificates, and a reading of the pledge. Afterwards, participants rolled a giant ball to the stage as a performance wishing for the success of the festival. When the ball reached the stage, a message was revealed: 'Wishing for the success of the 2025 dual festivals! As a new opportunity for growth.' Participants chanted this message together, reaffirming their commitment.
County Governor Kim Hanjong said, "Please join forces so that this event can become an opportunity for the development of Jangseong."
