Gwangju Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Kim Seokgi) announced on the 27th that it held a briefing session on veterans affairs projects for 2025, targeting 16 veterans organizations in the Gwangju area.
The briefing session, held in the main conference room on the 3rd floor of the Gwangju Government Complex, was attended by the heads and executives of veterans organizations in Gwangju.
The session was organized to explain the main veterans affairs projects being promoted this year, introduce changes to the veterans system, and collect current issues and suggestions, aiming to enhance communication with veterans organizations and expand consensus on veterans policies.
Kim Seokgi, Director of the Gwangju Veterans Affairs Office, stated, "Gwangju is a place that embodies the three core values of independence, national defense, and democracy in veterans affairs. I will do my utmost to ensure these values are harmoniously realized." He added, "I will take the lead in practicing veterans affairs that involve not only the government but also citizens, local governments, and all sectors of society, so that true veterans affairs can be achieved through everyone's participation."
