3-Minute Walk to Cheongdam Station: Prime Transit Location with Anticipated Samseong-dong Development
Han River Views and Sky Lounge: Completion of a High-End Residential Complex
Utilizing AI, BIM, and Drones: Achieving Top-Level Construction Quality
DL E&C announced on the 27th that it has successfully completed the reconstruction of Hongsil Apartment in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, named ‘Acro Samseong.’
Acro Samseong consists of four buildings ranging from four basement levels to 25 floors above ground, with exclusive areas of 92 to 167㎡, totaling 419 households. It is an ultra-transit-oriented complex located just a 3-minute walk from Cheongdam Station on Subway Line 7. It is considered a beneficiary complex of the Wirye-Sinsa Line (Cheongdam Station) and GTX-A Line (Samseong Station). Additionally, it is situated in the heart of Samseong-dong, where major development projects such as Hyundai Motor’s GBC and the Yeongdong-daero Metropolitan Complex Transfer Center are planned.
DL E&C was selected as the construction company in November 2018, began main construction in October 2021, and has now completed the project. In line with the high-end concept of the Acro brand, it applied a higher ceiling height (2.5m) than typical apartments and introduced differentiated residential environments such as a sky lounge with views of the Han River, a hotel-style drop-off zone at the entrance, and a high-end lobby garden.
Furthermore, DL E&C maximized construction quality by utilizing the latest IT technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), building information modeling (BIM), and drones during the construction process. They designated hold points at each construction stage to conduct thorough inspections, enhancing the overall quality through rigorous quality control.
A DL E&C representative stated, “Acro Samseong is a complex that embodies the highest level of quality befitting the high-end Acro brand,” adding, “We will continue to provide the best services after completion to maximize customer satisfaction.”
