Graduates of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology's Department of Oriental Medicine Donate Development Fund

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) announced on the 27th that the Department of Oriental Medicinal Materials donated 7.55 million KRW in development funds from the Class of 2023 graduates during the '51st Degree Conferment Ceremony for the 2024 Academic Year' held on the 14th.

All members of the Class of 2023 in the Department of Oriental Medicinal Materials, who are adult learners, successfully completed their university life with passion and a love of learning, expressing their gratitude to the university and the department. Since 2020, the students have continued the tradition of annual donations, demonstrating their love for their alma mater and juniors. The cumulative donation amount reaches 15.45 million KRW.


Kim Hyun-jung, head of the Department of Oriental Medicinal Materials at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, said, “I always feel that life itself is learning through the passionate dedication of our students,” adding, “We will do our best to ensure that the warm hearts of our graduates are conveyed to the department alumni.”


The Department of Oriental Medicinal Materials at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology operates a specialized curriculum tailored for adult learners and is the only two-year program related to herbal medicine materials nationwide, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
