Hana Securities Hosts the '2025 Overseas Derivatives Practical Investment Competition'

Hana Securities announced on the 27th that it will hold the '2025 Overseas Derivatives Real Investment Competition' in three seasons until the end of November.

The first season, titled 'The Birth and Growth of a Trader,' will be held from March 3 to May 30, where participants compete based on their individual returns. The second season, from June 2 to August 29, will be a team competition under the theme 'Team Formation and Fusion of Technology, Coexistence with AI.' The final season, from September 1 to November 28, will feature a competition between humans and AI under the theme 'Human vs. AI, the Threat of AI,' where participants compete against algorithms (AI) in terms of returns.

Participants can join the competition by trading at least 10 contracts (or 100 micro contracts) of overseas futures products listed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), excluding options, over a three-month period. Each month, the top three participants in returns will receive prize money of 1 million KRW each.

Additionally, all customers who trade at least one contract, including micro contracts, will receive a coffee coupon. Dormant customers who are new or have not traded for over three months will receive a department store gift certificate worth approximately 100,000 KRW upon trading. The first two customers who trade the most product types will be awarded wide monitors.

Any customer holding an overseas derivatives account with Hana Securities can participate in the competition. After consenting to marketing use on the Hana Securities website, participants can apply through the Hana Securities Home Trading System (HTS) ‘1Q Overseas Derivatives’ or the Mobile Trading System (MTS) ‘1Q Derivatives’ until the day before the last day of the competition.

Nam Taek-min, head of Hana Securities PWM Division, stated, “This real investment competition is not just a simple returns contest but incorporates various elements each season to add excitement to the competition.” He added, “Hana Securities will take the lead in creating a new investment culture by offering diverse programs.”
