Continued High Exchange Rates and Rising Raw Material Costs
Dunkin, operated by BR Korea under SPC Group, announced on the 26th that it will raise the prices of some menu items by an average of 6% starting from the 27th.
Dunkin posted on its website, "Due to the continued high exchange rates and rising raw material costs, we will be adjusting the prices of some donuts and coffee starting from the 27th." The price of the Strawberry Field donut will increase by 100 won from 1,900 won to 2,000 won, and the Castella donut will rise by 200 won from 3,700 won to 3,900 won. Additionally, the Americano will be priced at 3,900 won, up from 3,700 won.
Baskin-Robbins also plans to raise coffee prices by 14-15% on the 4th of next month. The price of an Americano will increase from 2,800 won to 3,200 won, and the price of a cafe latte will go up from 3,300 won to 3,800 won.
