"Spring Sales Boost" Lotte Department Store Holds Beauty Relay Event at All Branches

From the 28th to the 16th of Next Month
A Total of 64 Beauty Brands Participate, Offering Benefits
March Sees High Demand for Cosmetics Due to New School Semester and White Day

Lotte Department Store announced on the 26th that it will consecutively hold large-scale beauty events at all its stores targeting customers preparing for spring shopping.

March is considered one of the months with the highest demand for cosmetics throughout the year due to the new school semester and White Day specials. An analysis of monthly sales of representative gift product categories, such as color cosmetics and perfumes, over the past three years (2022-2024) showed that March ranked second in sales after December, the year-end gift season.


This event will be held from the 28th of this month to the 16th of next month. It plans to offer various purchase benefits along with customized gift suggestions for each period.


First, from the 28th of this month to the 9th of next month, the focus will be on spring outings and new semester demand. Under the theme "Find Your Own Beauty Color," exclusive curated sets will be presented in collaboration with the four major beauty groups: ‘Elca’, ‘LVMH’, ‘L’Or?al’, and ‘Shiseido’.


Representative products include ‘Lanc?me UV Expert 50mL 2+1’ and ‘Est?e Lauder Brown Bottle 75mL 2+1’. A promotion will also be held where customers who pay with certain cards can receive up to 7% of their purchase amount in Lotte mobile gift certificates.


From the 7th to the 16th of next month, the event will target White Day gift demand. Popular gift brands in color cosmetics, perfumes, and body care such as ‘Yves Saint Laurent’, ‘Giorgio Armani’, ‘Valentino Beauty’, ‘Jo Malone London’, ‘Diptyque’, ‘Acqua di Parma’, ‘L’Occitane’, and ‘Aesop’ will participate extensively.


The recommended flagship product is ‘Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau de Toilette 30ml’. All customers purchasing perfumes of 30mL or more from Yves Saint Laurent will receive a mini lip glow balm as an additional gift. When purchasing ‘Signature of the Sun Osmanthus 20mL’ from ‘Acqua di Parma’, customers will receive a ‘Discovery Set (1.5mL·4 types)’ worth 58,000 KRW as a gift.


Meanwhile, various beauty pop-ups will be showcased at each store. Notably, until the 9th of next month, a ‘Clinique’ pop-up will be held at the Cos Monoji Plaza on the basement first floor of the main store. This pop-up, commemorating the launch of Clinique’s new ‘Melanin Goodbye Serum,’ will offer visitors makeup retouching and skincare consulting experiences, and on weekends, makeup shows will introduce the latest makeup trends.
