On the 27th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be mostly clear, but clouds will increase at times from the afternoon.
On this day, the region will be on the edge of a high-pressure system passing over the southern seas of Jeju Island. Morning temperatures will range from -5 to 1 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius.
The expected morning lows are as follows: Gokseong -5 degrees, Jangseong, Damyang, Hampyeong, Naju, Yeongam, Jangheung, Boseong, Goheung -4 degrees, Hwasun, Muan, Haenam, Gangjin -3 degrees, Gurye, Jindo -2 degrees, Gwangju, Suncheon, Gwangyang, Mokpo, Wando -1 degree, Shinan 0 degrees, and Yeosu 2 degrees.
The expected daytime highs are: Gwangju, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Hwasun, Naju 15 degrees, Hampyeong, Yeongam, Jangheung, Suncheon, Gwangyang 14 degrees, Yeonggwang, Muan, Haenam, Gangjin, Goheung 13 degrees, Jindo, Wando 12 degrees, Shinan, Mokpo 11 degrees, and Yeosu 10 degrees, which will be higher than the previous day.
Waves in the West and South Sea coastal areas will range from 0.5 to 1 meter. Fine dust levels will be 'moderate'. Ultra-fine dust will be 'moderate' in the morning and may temporarily reach 'poor' levels in the afternoon.
An official from the Korea Meteorological Administration said, "There may be dense sea fog in the West Sea on this day, so please be cautious of maritime safety accidents."
