Providing Customized Integrated Services
Eliminating Welfare Blind Spots and Enhancing Resident Well-being
Gokseong County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 26th that it will operate the Hope Welfare Support Team this year to eliminate welfare blind spots and enhance residents' sense of welfare, providing customized integrated care services to help residents feel more energized.
The Hope Welfare Support Team will promote four main projects: customized integrated case management, support and management of town and township welfare projects, discovery and connection of local welfare resources, and operation of a local protection system through public-private cooperation.
The county will actively identify vulnerable groups experiencing difficulties through customized integrated case management and provide individualized welfare services. In cooperation with the customized welfare teams in each town and township, they will select case management recipients and ensure practical support through continuous monitoring.
In addition, the county plans to strengthen the smooth operation of welfare projects in towns and townships by increasing administrative and financial support, establishing a system that enables residents in welfare blind spots to receive prompt assistance.
Efforts will also be made to discover and connect local welfare resources. To ensure effective support for those in need, the county will conduct welfare resource surveys twice a year and strengthen networks with towns, townships, and social organizations to improve service efficiency and accessibility.
Along with this, the county will significantly enhance the local protection system through public-private cooperation. By linking various community-based welfare projects such as the Neighborhood Welfare Task Force, Customized Elderly Care Service, and Daily Life Support, the county will provide rapid assistance to households in urgent need and promptly identify households at risk to deliver appropriate services.
A county official emphasized, "Through the Hope Welfare Support Team, we will proactively identify households in crisis and do our utmost to ensure that customized welfare services are swiftly provided where needed by strengthening public-private cooperation."
