The 9th group, which was active last year, participated in the Youth Participatory Budget System, toured the National Assembly, held policy discussions with members of the National Assembly, and conducted district policy monitoring. They also hosted the "Aajeongmal (children directly speak about children's policies) Policy Proposal Session," encouraging enthusiastic participation and response from children by proposing policies from their own perspectives.

The recruitment targets children aged 9 to under 18 who reside or are active in Seo-gu, Gwangju. Applications can be submitted in person to the Seo-gu District Child Welfare Department or via email with the required documents by the 14th of next month. For more information, contact the Seo-gu District Child Welfare Department or the Seo-gu Youth Center.

Kang Misook, head of the Child Welfare Department, said, "We plan to expand opportunities for children to directly participate in district policies and propose policies so they can actively contribute to the local community," and added, "We will strive to create an environment where children can express their opinions and be heard, making this a city where my child wants to live."
