This is part of the 'Syrian Refugee Support Project' launched in 2024 to alleviate the economic vulnerability of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, who are suffering from the unstable situation in the Middle East and Lebanon's economic crisis.

The Lotte Scholarship Foundation plans to continue various support such as education and vocational training to help refugee single mothers and children and adolescents, who are considered vulnerable groups, achieve practical independence. In addition, food and essential supplies for war victims will also be provided to refugee families in the Lebanon region and inside Syria.

Previously, the foundation also supported Syrian refugee single mothers and children and adolescents residing in Lebanon last year by providing education, vocational training, and livelihood support, and as part of emergency war relief, it provided food aid and installed hot water pumps, totaling approximately 120 million KRW in support.
