In the ranking of the world's top 100 coffee shops, a coffee shop in Busan was the only one from Korea to make the list.
On the 25th (local time), CNN in the US reported this citing the announcement from the organization (theworlds100bestcoffeeshops) that selects the world's top 100 coffee shops. According to the report, the first place was taken by Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters located in Sydney, Australia. Following were Onyx Coffee Lab in Arkansas, USA, Gota Coffee Experts in Vienna, Austria, Proud Mary Coffee in Melbourne, and Tim Wendelboe in Oslo, Norway, ranking high.
The top 10 coffee shops were selected from Singapore, France, Malaysia, and Colombia. The ranking of the top 100 coffee shops is determined through open voting by coffee enthusiasts and expert panels based on eight criteria including ▲coffee quality ▲barista expertise ▲customer service ▲innovation ▲atmosphere ▲sustainability, among others, from applications worldwide.

Strut Coffee, located in Busan, ranked 38th and was the only Korean coffee shop to be included in the top 100 coffee shops. Strut Coffee opened in 2016. The word "Strut" means a support rod, symbolizing the intention to balance the diverse and beautiful flavors of coffee.
