The National Gwangju Science Museum has begun recruiting annual members for 2025. With an annual fee of 30,000 won, members can visit over 370 science museums in Korea and abroad for free.
According to the Gwangju Science Museum on the 26th, annual membership recruitment is conducted year-round. The annual membership system, introduced in June last year, has already attracted over 600 members in less than a year, gaining significant popularity.
For an annual fee of 30,000 won, members can enjoy free admission to the permanent exhibition hall and special theater for one year from the date of enrollment. Additional benefits include discounts on special exhibitions and free parking. Furthermore, members can also enter the permanent exhibition halls of the National Gwacheon Science Museum and the Seodaemun Museum of Natural History for free. Notably, as the only ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) member institution in Korea, members can also access over 370 science museums worldwide that participate in the ASTC Passport Program at no cost.
