The Nakdong River Council, composed of six local governments in the Nakdong River basin area?Gyeongnam (Yangsan, Gimhae) and Busan (Buk-gu, Saha, Gangseo, Sasang)?is holding the ‘Nakdong River Spring Flower FESTA’ event to discover and promote spring flower spots near the Nakdong River in celebration of spring.
Last fall, the six local governments successfully operated the ‘Nakdong River FESTA’ by linking various autumn festivals. This year, they are running the event under the name ‘Nakdong River Spring Flower FESTA’ to discover spring flower spots along the Nakdong River and encourage many visitors to enjoy them.
As a preliminary event, the Nakdong River Spring Flower FESTA Spot Recommendation event is underway. By accessing the event link (Naver Form) and recommending spring flower spots in the six local governments of the Nakdong River Council, participants will be entered into a draw to receive a gifticon worth approximately 10,000 KRW.
Detailed information can be found through the official SNS channels of each local government, and the spot recommendation event runs from February 26 to March 5.
Additionally, one spot with the most recommendations from the preliminary event will be selected in each area, and a visit certification event will be held from the end of March to the end of April.
Visitors who take photos enjoying the spring flowers at the certified locations and upload them to SNS will be entered into a draw to receive a gifticon worth approximately 30,000 KRW. Furthermore, among participants who visit all six spring flower spots and complete SNS certification, six winners will be drawn to receive an iPad and AirPods.
Na Dong-yeon, mayor of Yangsan and chairman of the Nakdong River Council, said, “Last year’s Nakdong River FESTA autumn festival relay visit event received great response, so we prepared the visit certification event again this year.” He added, “We hope this event will provide an opportunity to enjoy the spring atmosphere of the Nakdong River without regional boundaries.”
