A Variety of Events Including Parade, Opening Performances, and Lucky Draw
Jeonbuk Wanju Cultural Foundation (Chairman Yoo Heetae) announced on the 25th that the 23rd Wanju Samnye Strawberry Festival will be held from the 7th to the 9th of next month at the public parking lot behind Samnye Nonghyup.
This festival, organized by Samnye Nonghyup and the Wanju Cultural Foundation, will be filled with various programs, performances, experiences, and events related to strawberries, offering visitors a delightful and sweet spring day.

The event hours are from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and the opening ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM on the 8th of next month.
Including the opening ceremony, the event will feature a large strawberry-making performance with local residents, a strawberry Nongak parade, opening performances and an EDM party for all age groups including the MZ generation, a Strawberry Dream Tree Talent Contest for children and families, and a variety of programs such as a lucky draw.
Side events include a strawberry picking experience, a permanent strawberry sales booth, a strawberry stamp event, and more. Over 50 bakeries and food zones, as well as experience and sales zones themed around strawberries, will also be in operation at all times.
In addition, in collaboration with the Department of Food Science and the Department of Hotel Culinary Arts at Woosuk University located in Samnye, strawberry cakes and other products made by students using Samnye strawberries will be available for purchase at affordable prices.
Yoo Heetae, Chairman of the Wanju Cultural Foundation, said, "As the Wanju Cultural Foundation and Wanju DMO are joining together for this year's Wanju Samnye Strawberry Festival, we will do our best to create enjoyable memories for both local residents and visitors," and added, "We will strive to make this festival a representative strawberry festival of Jeollabuk-do."
