Samhyun is showing strong performance. As large-scale investments continue worldwide to dominate the humanoid market, interest in robot technology appears to be growing. Recently, FigureAI, founded in 2022, was valued at $39.5 billion (approximately 56.45 trillion KRW). This is more than a 15-fold increase compared to $2.6 billion last year. Recognized for its technological capabilities, it has attracted investments from Microsoft (MS), OpenAI, Nvidia, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, among others.
At 11:02 AM on the 25th, Samhyun was trading at 14,280 KRW, up 19.0% from the previous day.
Samhyun holds the only domestic 3-IN-1 (motor, controller, reducer) integrated technology in the fields of mobility, defense, and robotics industries. It is a company specializing in the development and production of core electrification integrated products. Recently, it has been aggressively expanding its business through strategic equity investments and large-scale facility investments in companies possessing control technology for eco-friendly vehicles and robots.
Last year, Samhyun received approval for ‘business restructuring’ from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and was selected as an ‘Excellent Company in Materials, Parts, and Equipment.’ Through this business restructuring approval and selection as an excellent company in materials, parts, and equipment, Samhyun plans to accelerate the commercialization of its 3-in-1 motion control system, which integrates motor, controller, and reducer element technologies, and strengthen its position in the global market. The company has set a goal to grow beyond being the number one domestic company in smart actuators and drive motors to become the world’s leading company.
On the same day, a media outlet reported, citing a Samhyun official, that Samhyun is discussing the supply of joint motors for robots with its clients. As it continues to develop and mass-produce core robot components, it is expected to be re-evaluated as a robotics company in terms of corporate value.
Park Chansol, a researcher at SK Securities, explained, "Bloomberg also reported that FigureAI is conducting an investment round valued at about 50 trillion KRW, approximately 15 times higher than its Series B investment valuation," adding, "This allows us to gauge the highest level of humanoid value and market impact that the market envisions."
