Hwasun County (Governor Koo Bokgyu) announced on the 24th that it will officially launch the K-Pass project, a public transportation fare reimbursement support program that can reduce public transportation costs by up to 53%.

K-Pass allows users who take public transportation at least 15 times a month to receive a partial reimbursement of their transportation expenses the following month, for up to two rides per day and a maximum of 60 rides per month.

To use K-Pass, you must visit a nearby bank or card company to receive a card, and then register as a member through the K-Pass app or K-Pass website in order to receive the reimbursement.

▲ General users (aged 35 and over) can receive a 20% reimbursement ▲ Young adults (aged 19-34) can receive 30% ▲ Low-income individuals can receive 53% back.

In addition, parents with a total of two or more children, with at least one child aged 18 or younger, are classified as multi-child parents. ▲ Multi-child parents with two children are eligible for a 30% reimbursement rate ▲ Those with three or more children are eligible for a 50% reimbursement rate.

Governor Koo Bokgyu of Hwasun County said, "With the implementation of K-Pass, all county residents aged 19 and over who use public transportation can receive transportation fare reimbursements," and added, "We especially expect this to ease the transportation cost burden for workers and students commuting by public transportation."
