Cheon Haram: "Entering the Election System as Soon as Possible"
The Reform New Party formed an election planning team on the 24th and began preparations for an early presidential election.
On the same day, the Reform New Party held an executive committee meeting and announced the appointment of Ham Ik-byeong, director of Ham Ik-byeong & Esther Clinic (former Reform New Party Public Relations Committee member), as head of the election planning team, and Kim Du-su, deputy director of the party's Reform Research Institute, as deputy head.
The election planning team members include Lee Kyung-seon, deputy head of organization; Kim Jeong-cheol, chairman of the legal advisory committee; Cho Yong-min, CEO of Unbound Lab Dev; Koo Hyuk-mo, full-time deputy director of the Reform Research Institute; and Jeon In-gu, director of Jeon In-gu Economic Research Institute.
Cheon Ha-ram, acting party leader and floor leader of the Reform New Party, met with reporters immediately after the meeting and said, "The party will enter the election system as soon as possible and do its best to make a significant impact in this election."
The Reform New Party also announced that it would withdraw its plan to file an ethics committee complaint against former leader Heo Eun-ah.
Floor leader Cheon said, "There is a very strong opinion that former leader Heo should be disciplined, and many key members also believe discipline is necessary," but added, "Moving forward is more important."
However, he emphasized to former leader Heo, "Nevertheless, if former leader Heo continues to engage in actions warranting discipline, there may be limits," and urged, "Please do your best to prevent such incidents."
