Woods, First Absence Since TGL Launch

Kim Joo-hyung, Kisner, and Homa to Play Against Bay GC
Woods Sits Out Due to Recent Busy Schedule
Jupiter Links GC Records 1 Win and 2 Losses With Woods

The "Golf Emperor" Tiger Woods (USA) will miss the TGL screen golf tournament for the first time.

Woods, First Absence Since TGL Launch Tiger Woods

TGL Jupiter Links GC, the team Woods belongs to, announced on the 23rd that Kim Joo-hyung, Kevin Kisner, and Max Homa (all from the USA) will participate in the match against Bay GC on the 25th (local time), excluding Woods. This is the first time Woods has missed a TGL event in the three tournaments held so far. Bay GC, which Jupiter Links GC will face, will field Lee Min-woo (Australia), Shane Lowry (Ireland), and Wyndham Clark (USA).

Although Woods did not disclose the reason for not participating in the TGL match, it is seen as a rest period after a very busy schedule recently. Woods recently competed in the PGA Tour Genesis Invitational, which he hosted, following the passing of his mother, and visited the White House to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump and attend a dinner event. Amid this, on the 18th, he participated in a TGL match but experienced a bizarre incident where he mistook a 199-yard shot for 99 yards. Jupiter Links GC has recorded 1 win and 2 losses in the three matches Woods participated in.
