According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 23rd, the nationwide morning low temperatures on the 24th will range from -12°C to -2°C, and the daytime highs will be between 3°C and 8°C, which is lower than the average. Temperatures are expected to gradually rise from Tuesday the 25th, returning to normal levels.

Until the 24th, strong winds with gusts around 55 km/h (15 m/s) will blow in most areas nationwide, especially in the eastern regions on the 25th, causing the wind chill to drop further. In particular, very strong winds exceeding 70 km/h (20 m/s) will blow until the morning of the 24th in some areas such as the Chungnam West Coast, Jeolla Coast, and inland central Jeonnam including Hwasun, where wind warnings have been issued.

On the 24th, the country will be mostly clear, but the skies over the Jeolla region and Jeju will be cloudy. From the 23rd to the morning of the 24th, snow or rain is expected in the Jeolla region and Jeju Island. The forecasted snowfall and precipitation amounts are 1 to 5 cm and around 5 mm, respectively.

The air will remain dry nationwide. Dryness warnings are in effect for the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, inland Chungcheong region, eastern Jeonnam, and the Gyeongsang region. The Korea Meteorological Administration urged people to avoid using fire outdoors as much as possible due to the strong winds that could cause small sparks to spread into large fires, and to thoroughly manage fire sources such as wood-burning boilers and cigarette butts.

In the West Sea, the southern sea offshore, Jeju waters, and the central East Sea offshore, where storm warnings have been issued, very strong winds of 30 to 60 km/h (8 to 16 m/s) will blow until the afternoon of the 24th, and waves are expected to be very high at 1.5 to 4.0 meters.
