and Strengthening Employment Capabilities

Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) recently operated the '2025 Winter Gijang-gun Youth Administrative Experience Group' for local youth during the winter vacation.
The 'Gijang-gun Youth Administrative Experience Group' expanded the recruitment target from university students in the existing part-time job program to unemployed youth aged 19 to 39, including university students.
It was established to provide more youth with opportunities for administrative experience, enhance their understanding of county administration and the local area, and strengthen their employment capabilities to support successful social entry.
This season's Youth Administrative Experience Group was conducted in two phases: from January 7 to 24 and from February 4 to 21. A total of 100 local youth were selected and supported various tasks such as administrative work assistance, civil service help, and site visits at ▲Gijang-gun Office ▲Eupmyeon Administrative Welfare Centers ▲Libraries ▲Gijang-gun Urban Management Corporation, spending a valuable time experiencing county administration.
A student who participated in the Youth Administrative Experience Group said, "I feel proud to be able to do even a small job for the Gijang-gun where I live," adding, "It was especially meaningful because I earned my tuition with my own hands."
A Gijang-gun official stated, "We will continue to improve the Youth Administrative Experience Group so that young people can feel the vivid voices of the administrative field and have opportunities to demonstrate their talents," and added, "We hope many youth participate and gain valuable experience."
