Business Agreement Signed with Chungnam Branch of Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association and Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency
Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation announced on the 21st that it had signed a business agreement to support women-owned businesses in Chungnam with the Chungnam branch of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association and the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency.
According to the agreement, Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation will expand preferential financial support through the "Chungnam Women-Owned Business Specialized Guarantee."
The Women Entrepreneurs Association and the Promotion Agency will actively work to discover and recommend eligible businesses for the specialized guarantee, thereby helping to improve the startup and management conditions for women-owned businesses.
Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation will significantly increase the scale of this specialized guarantee for women-owned businesses struggling due to the ongoing economic downturn, from 10 billion KRW in 2022 and 30 billion KRW in 2023 to 100 billion KRW this year.
The guarantee fee reduction benefits of the specialized guarantee will also be strengthened compared to general guarantees and other specialized guarantee products.
Chairman Cho Sohaeng said, "Women business owners account for 38% of all business owners in Chungnam, and women-owned businesses make up 44% of the companies using our guarantees, so women-owned businesses play an important role in Chungnam's economy. We will support women-owned businesses so that they can overcome financial difficulties and maintain stable business operations even in challenging times."
Applications for Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation's Chungnam Women-Owned Business Specialized Guarantee have been accepted since the 7th.
