The meeting was held with the attendance of the board members and working staff of Daejin Medical Foundation, ahead of the completion of the construction of the annex building of Jesaeng Hospital. The meeting discussed the opening schedule and direction.
Dongducheon, located in the northeastern part of Gyeonggi Province, is an area with poor medical infrastructure, where childbirth, pediatric hospitalization, surgical operations, and emergency response are not available. Essential medical facilities are severely lacking, making a general hospital urgently needed.
Mayor Park Hyung-deok of Dongducheon said, “The opening of Jesaeng Hospital in Dongducheon has been the hope and long-cherished wish of Dongducheon citizens for the past 30 years. I hope the day will come soon when Jesaeng Hospital opens and becomes a landmark of Dongducheon.”
In response, Daejin Medical Foundation stated, “We reaffirmed our commitment to strengthen cooperation with Dongducheon City and will strive for the swift opening of Jesaeng Hospital in Dongducheon.”
