Ulsan City to Further Strengthen On-site Support for Businesses

February 19: On-Site Support Task Force Meeting at Hyundai Motor Electric Vehicle Plant Construction Site
Sharing Achievements in Corporate On-Site Support and Announcing Key Promotion Plans for 2025

Ulsan City will hold an on-site, field-centered "Corporate On-Site Support Task Force (TF) Meeting" at 2 p.m. on February 19 at the Hyundai Motor Ulsan Electric Vehicle Plant construction site.

The meeting will be attended by about 20 people, including Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom, Hyundai Motor CEO Lee Dong-seok, and officials from Ulsan City and Hyundai Motor. They will share the achievements of corporate on-site support and the key promotion plans for 2025, as well as discuss the progress of Hyundai Motor's investment projects and corporate difficulties.

According to the key promotion plans for 2025 shared on this day, Ulsan City will further strengthen on-site support for investment companies this year as well.

First, to further reinforce the corporate on-site support system, Ulsan City plans to complete a support system that handles corporate difficulties in a one-stop manner by additionally forming a consultative body of related organizations within the currently operating Corporate On-Site Support Task Force (TF).

In addition, for small and medium investment projects that have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ulsan City, the city will continue to operate regional responsible officers and identify corporate difficulties through field surveys to ensure that no companies are left out of on-site support, making every effort to support small and medium-sized enterprises.

In particular, based on the achievement that Ulsan City's investment company on-site support system has been recognized as a national model case and disseminated to other local governments, Ulsan City plans to share corporate on-site support know-how with district and county permit officials and operate an Investment Company On-Site Support Officer Training Academy to cultivate dedicated on-site support officers in districts and counties.

Hyundai Motor CEO Lee Dong-seok said, "I am grateful for the passion and active support of Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom and Ulsan City officials," adding, "We will actively seek continuous investment so that Ulsan can become the center of eco-friendly vehicle production."

After the meeting, attendees will visit the Hyundai Motor Ulsan Electric Vehicle Plant construction site to check the progress of the project and encourage on-site personnel.

Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom said, "We will expand corporate on-site support further to directly listen to the voices of companies on-site and actively resolve the practical difficulties they face."

The Corporate On-Site Support Task Force (TF) is a one-stop corporate support system for resolving issues of investment companies. It has been in operation since January last year and has achieved significant results in on-site support and investment attraction.
