I Will Build Public Education That Inspires Hope
Jeong Seung-yoon, a preliminary candidate for Superintendent of Education in Busan, carried out a meal service activity for the elderly on the 18th.
On that day, Jeong Seung-yoon visited the Jangsan Senior Welfare Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan, in the morning to provide meals and snacks for the elderly.
Jeong Seung-yoon, a preliminary candidate for Busan Superintendent of Education, is visiting a senior welfare center, engaging in volunteer activities, and having a conversation with the elderly.
Participating in the meal service that day were preliminary candidate Jeong, Kim Il-soon, president of the ASEAN Cultural Exchange Organization, and members of the organization. While volunteering to serve meals, candidate Jeong had conversations with the elderly.
Candidate Jeong emphasized, “The Republic of Korea started from the ruins of war and became a global economic powerhouse solely through effort and perseverance. At the core of this was education. Today's growth is thanks to the sacrifices of the elderly who, despite being uneducated and poor themselves, ensured their children received proper education and succeeded.” He added, “Inspired by the spirit of sacrifice of the elderly, I will create public education that enables our children to become wise and courageous talents,” and “Public education will become the hope for children dreaming of tomorrow.”
