Meeting with the players, Chairman Chung said, "I sincerely congratulate you on the great results last season, which brought great joy to the members of Hyundai Motor Group. I was unable to attend the celebration in November last year due to heavy snow, so I am glad to meet you here at the spring training camp."
He added, "While winning is important, personal health is also crucial, so I ask all players and staff to take good care of your condition and health."
Chairman Chung communicated directly with the players and had a friendly conversation. Na Sung-bum, the team captain, presented Chairman Chung with a large signed ball on behalf of the players.

Additionally, Chairman Chung spontaneously invited the Kia Tigers members to visit Kia’s sales corporation and design center located in Irvine on the 17th. He said, "Since the parent company is an automobile manufacturer, it would be good to see how vehicles are produced firsthand." It is said that he carefully arranged not only a meal for the players but also the menu selection.
The Kia Tigers players and staff expressed their gratitude, saying, "We were surprised and deeply encouraged by the warm support during your visit to the spring training camp despite your busy schedule," and pledged, "We will not forget your advice and will work hard and enjoy this season."
The KIA Tigers began their spring camp on the 25th of last month in preparation for the 2025 season, entering full-scale training to strengthen their team. This spring camp includes 60 members: 22 coaching staff and 38 players (18 pitchers, 3 catchers, 10 infielders, and 7 outfielders). Afterwards, they will move to Okinawa, Japan on the 20th and enter full-scale game preparation until March 4th.
