This education program was specially designed to help parents of multicultural family children recognize emotions positively and manage them effectively. It aimed to support parents in properly understanding and regulating their own emotions and to help them acquire effective emotional expression skills in communication with their children.
In particular, by reflecting the characteristics of multicultural families through various cases and practical exercises, the program presented methods that parents can actually apply. Through this, it is expected that parents in multicultural families will learn emotional regulation and communication skills that consider cultural differences, enabling them to maintain smoother relationships with their children.
Mr. Kim (54 years old, male), who participated in the program, shared his thoughts, saying, "It was a very beneficial time as I was able to learn how to understand and communicate with my child's emotions through the parent education."
County Governor Oh Do-chang stated, "I believe this parent education program will greatly help parents deepen their understanding of their relationships with their children and learn positive communication methods. Going forward, Yeongyang-gun will continue to expand support for parent education so that all families can grow up in a happy environment."
