The Korea Life Improvement Yeongdeok County Federation, a non-profit organization, held the inauguration and retirement ceremony for the 15th and 16th presidents on the afternoon of the 14th at 2 PM in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Yeongdeok County Agricultural Technology Center.

The event was attended by about 140 people, including Kim Gwang-yeol, Yeongdeok County Governor; Kim Seong-ho, Chairman of the Yeongdeok County Council and council members; Hwang Jae-cheol, member of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council; Son Kyung-ae, Vice President of the Korea Life Improvement Gyeongsangbuk-do Federation; heads of agricultural organizations; and Life Improvement members.
In his congratulatory speech, Yeongdeok County Governor Kim Gwang-yeol said, “I thank the 15th president Kim Gye-hwa for her hard work and congratulate the 16th president Yoo Soon-hee on her inauguration. I deeply appreciate the Life Improvement Association for being a key part of our era and for voluntarily participating in fostering healthy rural families and developing local communities despite difficult conditions as women farmers.”
Newly appointed president Yoo Soon-hee pledged, “The Life Improvement Association will do its best to become a model organization that leads rural society as women leaders, strengthens the unity of its members, builds happy families, creates a vibrant rural community, and advances the status and rights of rural women.”
