This Year's Venue for Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival is 'Hwaseong-si Jeongjo Hyo Park'

Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 16th that 'Jeongjo Hyo Park' has been selected as the venue for the '2025 Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival' organized by Gyeonggi Province.

The 'Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival' is a music event featuring competitions among indie musicians nationwide, busking performances by local artists, and lifestyle markets. This year's event will be held over two days in October.

Previously, the event was held in Ansan City in 2023 and in Paju City last year. This year, the city plans to operate the event in connection with local universities and its own performance programs. The city intends to enhance the quality of the event through continuous consultations with Gyeonggi Province, the Gyeonggi Content Agency, and others.

Jeong Myeong-geun, mayor of Hwaseong City, said, "We will make every effort to prepare so that this event can become a festival where 1.04 million Hwaseong citizens and music fans nationwide can unite and enjoy together."
