Gwangju Office of Education to Create Career Exploration Space for Middle School Students

Installation of "365 Career Room" at Bongseon Middle School and Duam Middle School

Spaces designed to enhance career competencies will be established in two middle schools in Gwangju.


According to the Gwangju Office of Education on the 14th, 70 million KRW will be provided to both Bongseon Middle School and Duam Middle School in March to create a "365 Career Room" in each school.

This space is an open career exploration area that helps students adapt to changes in school level, and provides learning coaching, sharing of career materials and information, club activity sharing, exhibition of learning outcomes, and peer mentoring.


Additionally, a field support team consisting of teachers and local community career education experts will offer programs such as "Visiting Career Special Lectures," "Career and Academic Planning Guidance," and "Find My Dream Career Counseling Room."


Furthermore, for multicultural students and parents, a bilingual instructor will be matched to operate a visiting career and academic counseling program.


Superintendent Lee Jeongseon stated, "For students to develop basic and fundamental competencies, the role of school career education is crucial," and added, "We will provide systematic support so that students' diverse dreams can be realized in the future."
