Sparrow, Accelerating Growth in the Global Security Market from the Middle East to Asia...

Application security company Sparrow announced on the 14th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Middle Eastern security service company RAS Infotech to supply Sparrow security solutions in the Middle East region.

Having secured consecutive contracts in the Asian market earlier this year, Sparrow is accelerating its entry into the Middle Eastern market by leveraging this MOU and its participation in 'LEAP 2025,' the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East.

The Middle Eastern cybersecurity market is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 10.2% until 2028, expanding to a total size of $36.2 billion (approximately 52 trillion KRW).

Sparrow is making a full-scale entry into the Middle Eastern market by signing a partnership agreement with RAS Infotech, which is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and has established distribution networks across various industries such as finance, public sector, and manufacturing throughout the Middle East, to supply application security testing solutions.

Sparrow participated in LEAP 2025, held from the 9th to the 12th in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, local time, showcasing application security testing technologies aimed at building software (SW) supply chain security systems.

LEAP 2025 is the largest technology exhibition in the Middle East, hosted by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), with participation from global technology companies not only from the Middle East but also from Europe and North America.

Sparrow is focusing on expanding its overseas customer base. Earlier this year, it consecutively secured secure coding projects with a Japanese digital marketing company and a Chinese automotive intelligence company. It was also selected as a final candidate in an application security advancement project led by a central bank in the Middle East, raising expectations for favorable outcomes.

Sparrow plans to continue engaging with global customers by participating in 'Black Hat Asia 2025,' held in Singapore this April.

Jang Ilsu, CEO of Sparrow, said, "The Middle Eastern market is rapidly advancing in digital transformation and has high national-level interest, leading to continuously increasing security demand, making it possible to expand business activities more actively in the future." He added, "We confirmed Sparrow's competitiveness through contracts in the Asian region and will strengthen Sparrow's position in overseas markets by providing locally tailored solutions and actively discovering partner companies."
