Vacant House Maintenance, Slate Removal, and Housing Renovation
Asan City, Chungnam Province, announced that it will accept applications for the Rural Residential Environment Improvement Project until the 28th.
The improvement project includes vacant house maintenance, slate removal support, and housing renovation.
The vacant house maintenance project provides support for the demolition and waste disposal costs of vacant houses that have been left unattended in rural areas for more than one year, with up to 4 million KRW available per household.
The slate removal support project provides assistance for dismantling, removing, and disposing of slate used in the roofs or walls of buildings, with up to 7 million KRW available for residential houses.
In particular, if slate was used in a vacant house, duplicate support can be provided in conjunction with the maintenance project.
However, for warehouses, livestock sheds, and facilities for the elderly or children, support is limited to a maximum of 200 square meters.
The housing renovation project offers low-interest loans for housing renovation or new construction costs, lower than market rates. Eligible applicants include heads of households (or spouses) planning to build a single-family house with a total floor area of 150 square meters or less, homeless residents in rural areas, and those wishing to renovate old houses.
Applications can be submitted at the administrative welfare center of the building's location.
