In the downtown area, the Emergency Action for Resignation will hold a rally from Dongsipja Intersection to Jeokseon Intersection, then march along Ujeongguk-ro and Namdaemun-ro, passing Han Eun Intersection, to Exit 1 of Myeongdong Station. The Liberty Unification Party also plans to hold a rally from Sejong Intersection to Daehanmun.
The police plan to operate reversible lanes to facilitate vehicle traffic during the rallies and marches. They intend to maintain traffic flow between the North and South as well as East and West as much as possible and minimize inconvenience to citizens. To this end, about 240 traffic police officers will be deployed near the rally and march routes.
A Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency official said, "Traffic congestion is expected around rally locations such as Sejong-daero, Sajik-ro, and Yulgok-ro in the downtown area," and added, "We urge people to use public transportation such as the subway as much as possible and to check traffic information in advance if using vehicles."
