Yeongdeok-gun Signs Business Agreement for Livestock Port LPG Pipeline Network Construction Project

Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, signed a business consignment agreement with the Korea LPG Business Management Institute (Director Son Seung-jin) on the 13th to ensure the smooth progress of the ‘Chuksan Port LPG Pipeline Network Construction Project.’

This project is part of the ‘Medium-scale LPG Pipeline Network Construction Project’ led by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Yeongdeok-gun will supply LPG pipeline networks to approximately 642 households in Chuksan Port with a total project cost of 6.64 billion KRW from this year through 2026.


Upon completion of this project, residents can expect stabilization of gas supply and fuel cost savings of about 30 to 50% compared to existing heating methods such as kerosene or LPG cylinders.


County Governor Kim Gwang-yeol stated, “Through this agreement, we expect a significant improvement in residential conditions along with the alleviation of fuel cost burdens for Chuksan Port residents. We will continue to work closely with the Korea LPG Business Management Institute to realize welfare.”


The Korea LPG Business Management Institute, the entrusted agency for this project, held a resident briefing session on the 14th at the Chuksan-myeon Senior Welfare Center for residents of Chuksan 1 and 3-ri regarding the township-level LPG pipeline network construction project.
