Kering Develops Senior Housing Specialized Furniture with Hanssem

Joint Development of Senior-Exclusive Furniture and Smart Home Solutions

Senior care specialist company Caring announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement with Hanssem, a comprehensive home interior specialist company, to develop products specialized for senior residential spaces.

Through this business agreement, the two companies will research spaces considering seniors' rest and residential convenience and collaborate on the development of furniture exclusively for senior residences and Internet of Things (IoT) services. The products developed by the two companies will be applied throughout Caring's senior housing business, including the urban paid nursing facility ‘Caring Stay’ and the premium nursing home ‘Caring Village’.

Lee Seung-jun, Director of Hanssem, said, “Just as we have led residential space trends tailored to customers' lifestyles, we will propose new spaces suited to the senior lifestyle,” adding, “Along with this, we will build smart home solutions suitable for Caring and senior housing to maximize convenience in senior residential spaces.”
