The winners of Miss National Vietnam 2024 and Mr. World Vietnam 2024 arrived in Jeju aboard a large cruise ship.

The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced that on the 12th, a welcoming event featuring hanbok experiences and more was held for the group, who arrived on Royal Caribbean's Spectrum of the Seas. The event was organized by the Jeju Hanoi Tourism Promotion Office and the Jeju Tourism Organization.

The visiting group included Nguyen Ngoc Keu Duy, the first-place winner of Miss National Vietnam 2024, as well as the second and third place winners, and Pham Tuan Ngoc, the winner of Mr. Vietnam.

They visited Jeju through a Vietnamese luxury cruise travel agency and plan to introduce popular Seogwipo tourist attractions such as Jeongbang Waterfall, Yakcheonsa Temple, and Jusangjeolli Cliff to major Vietnamese media outlets, including the Miss Vietnam fan page (with 780,000 members) and VN Express.

Kim Heechan, Director of Tourism Exchange for Jeju Province, stated, "Last year, 640,000 foreign tourists visited Jeju by cruise, and 344 cruise calls are scheduled this year as of the 11th. We will develop a variety of port programs to enhance cruise tourists' satisfaction and ensure that the economic benefits are felt throughout Jeju."
