HFR to Unveil Satellite and Ieum 5G Networking Solutions at MWC2025

HFR (hereinafter HFR) will participate in the MWC2025 exhibition held in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3 to 6. As a specialized company in the Eum5G private network (hereinafter Eum5G) solution, it announced that it has achieved the No. 1 market share in the domestic market based on cumulative sites as of December last year.

At this exhibition, under the slogan "Direct Connection from Satellite to Enterprise," it will unveil a solution that combines Eum5G with low Earth orbit satellite communication. This supports enterprises, public institutions, and administrative agencies in installing and operating private 5G networks even in various environments without existing optical internet lines.

This is made possible through the low Earth orbit satellite communication service and HFR’s developed my5GBox®. By simply connecting the power, Eum5G, WiFi, and IoT services can be used anywhere. Additionally, HFR presents its own business model to help Korean small and medium-sized enterprises enhance productivity and increase global competitiveness through AI digital transformation. By domesticating the my5G® solution together with several SMEs, HFR can provide customization to connect and service desired apps and devices at a low cost.

It will introduce the 5G NTN (satellite communication payload) under development, AI-RAN which forms the basis of 6G, and C-V2X supported RAN for autonomous driving and traffic efficiency. By applying Eum5G to corporate buildings, it shares cases that economically implement network connectivity, social network communication and information exchange, online work collaboration, security management, automation, and unmanned operations. Various Eum5G installation cases in hospitals, schools, construction sites, railroads, and power plants will also be shared.

An HFR official stated, “Through participation in this exhibition, we aim to establish ourselves in the global market as a private 5G solution provider and secure business partners and customers,” adding, “We will also secure a diverse ecosystem of application and device suppliers.”
