for Prospective Teachers

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Training Institute (Director Kim Mi-ran) will conduct the 'Job Training for Prospective Secondary New Teachers' for 650 newly appointed teachers from the 17th to the 26th at the Training Institute and other locations.


This training aims to help prospective teachers acquire the basic qualities necessary for the teaching profession and develop practical skills.


The training will cover various fields such as teaching ethics, classroom management, student counseling, and teaching and learning methods, with experienced experts serving as instructors. In particular, the program will be operated with a focus on discussions and practical exercises to help participants deeply understand the role of teachers and school culture.


There will also be sessions for sharing know-how from actual educational sites through mentoring with senior teachers by subject. Additionally, lectures on digital education utilization methods to respond to the changing educational environment and student-centered lesson design will be included, which is expected to further enhance the capabilities of prospective teachers.


Director Kim Mi-ran of the Training Institute stated, “Through this training, we will actively support prospective secondary new teachers to solidify their basic competencies as educators and quickly adapt to the school environment,” adding, “We will strive to enhance teacher professionalism through continuous training.”
