Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Yeongwol-gun (Governor Choi Myung-seo) announced on the 13th that the Yeongwol Culture and Tourism Foundation (CEO Park Sang-heon) successfully conducted an exchange camp themed “Connecting and Creating” through music at Se-gyeong University in Yeongwol from the 10th to the 12th, lasting 2 nights and 3 days.

This exchange camp, under the slogan “Connected by Music,” was organized to break down the boundaries between the cities of Yeongwol and Gyeongju through music, bridge regional cultural gaps, and jointly realize the value of culture and arts. A total of about 100 youths received one-on-one training with conductors and instructors and enjoyed special programs such as recreation.
Through this exchange camp, youths with different cultural arts backgrounds and lifestyles were able to meet, share experiences, and form mutual bonds in a time of cultural exchange. Additionally, a small concert was held to share the beautiful harmony prepared diligently during the camp period with local residents, successfully concluding all events.
A representative of the Yeongwol Culture and Tourism Foundation stated, “We were able to see the youths become one and connect through music during the exchange camp,” and added, “We will continue to make great efforts to create opportunities to communicate through culture and arts.”
