According to AP News and ESPN, Charles III visited Tottenham to encourage a local child support project sponsored by the English Premier League (EPL) team Tottenham and the National Football League (NFL).
Charles III asked Son Heung-min, "Are you playing a match this weekend?" and Son replied, "We have a game against Manchester United on Sunday." When Charles III asked if he thought it would go well, Son said, "I hope so."
Charles III then asked, "Is the team doing well currently?" and Son answered, "We are facing difficulties but working hard." Charles III smiled and said, "I see."
On the same day at the stadium, Charles III learned how to throw a ball from Phoebe Shecter, a former British female American football player, and tried throwing it himself.
