SK Ecoplant Considers Sale of Environmental Subsidiaries Worth 2 Trillion Won

SK Ecoplant has begun considering the sale of its environmental management subsidiaries, Renewus and Renewon.

According to industry sources on February 12, SK Ecoplant is in contact with multiple domestic and international private equity funds (PEFs) regarding a potential sale of its 75% stake in Renewus and 100% stake in Renewon.

Renewus (formerly Environmental Facilities Management), which SK Ecoplant acquired in 2020, is the leading company in public sewage and wastewater treatment operations, with SK Ecoplant holding a 75% stake.
