Fine and Ultrafine Dust Levels to Reach 'Moderate' in the Afternoon
On the 13th, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience mostly clear weather.
Gwangju and Jeonnam will be under the influence of a high-pressure system moving eastward from central China, resulting in clear skies. Morning temperatures will drop to around -5 degrees Celsius, especially in inland areas, and strong winds will make it feel even colder.
The expected morning lows are as follows: Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, and Hwasun at -5 degrees; Naju, Jangseong, Yeongam, Suncheon, Boseong, Gwangyang, and Goheung at -4 degrees; Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Gangjin, Yeosu, and Jangheung at -3 degrees; Haenam and Muan at -2 degrees; Shinan, Mokpo, and Wando at -1 degree; and Jindo at 0 degrees.
The expected daytime highs are: Gwangyang at 9 degrees, Goheung at 8 degrees, Suncheon, Yeosu, Jangheung, Gangjin, and Wando at 7 degrees, and Gwangju, Yeonggwang, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Hampyeong, Naju, Hwasun, Boseong, Yeongam, Shinan, Jindo, and Haenam at 6 degrees, with Muan and Mokpo at 5 degrees. These are lower than the previous day.
Waves in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters will be around 0.5 meters. Fine and ultrafine dust levels will remain 'Good' until the morning and shift to 'Moderate' in the afternoon.
A Korea Meteorological Administration official stated, "As snow that melted during the day may refreeze overnight due to falling temperatures, please be cautious of slippery roads and pay attention to traffic safety and pedestrian falls."
