Damyang Bochon District Urban Development Project Gains Momentum

Jeonnam Development Corporation Receives Approval from Jeollanam-do Province
2,689 Housing Units to Be Built by 2030

Jeonnam Development Corporation announced on the 12th that Jeollanam-do Province has approved the designation of the Bochonjigu Urban Development Zone in Damyang and its development plan.

Jeonnam Development Corporation will begin designating the project implementer as early as this month. The corporation will also start land compensation in earnest, obtain approval for the implementation plan within the year, and then commence construction.

By 2030, a total of 2,689 residential units, including apartment complexes and single-family homes, will be built on 721,521 square meters in the Bochonni area of Goseo-myeon, Damyang-gun.

Jang Chungmo, President of Jeonnam Development Corporation, said, "With the approval of this development plan, we will create a new paradigm for small and medium-sized new town development in the Gwangju metropolitan area and build a resident-friendly, premium city."
