A Platform for Fostering Regional Leading Enterprises

Gyeongbuk Technopark will hold the 'Gyeongbuk Regional Enterprise Support Integrated Project Briefing' on the 13th at the headquarters building's international conference room to strengthen the competitiveness and growth of local companies.

This briefing is expected to attract many local SMEs by providing information on various enterprise support projects supported by Gyeongbuk TP, including the 2025 Regional Innovation Leading Enterprise Development (R&D) project.

In particular, detailed information about the '2025 Regional Innovation Leading Enterprise Development (R&D) project,' jointly promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Gyeongbuk Province, will be introduced.

This project supports technology development for local SMEs to foster key regional industries and revitalize the local economy, and is divided into the 'Key Industry Ecosystem Construction' and 'Local Enterprise Capacity Enhancement' programs.

The 'Key Industry Ecosystem Construction' program supports up to 1.4 billion KRW over two years for collaborative tasks among SMEs within the supply chain, centered on (preliminary) leading enterprises in connection with universities.

Additionally, the 'Support Enterprise Capacity Enhancement' program provides up to 400 million KRW over two years to promote growth for SMEs with regional growth potential.

Furthermore, information will be provided on projects supported by Gyeongbuk TP such as ▲Gyeongbuk Regional Growth Ladder Support Project ▲SME Public Procurement Market Entry Support Project ▲Gyeongbuk-type Smart Factory (Basic Stage) Construction Support Project, offering practical assistance to local companies.

A Gyeongbuk TP official stated, “We hope the 2025 Integrated Enterprise Support Briefing will help local SMEs with the localization of core technologies and strengthening competitiveness,” adding, “We will continue to show unwavering interest and support so that key industry companies in Gyeongbuk Province can grow.”
