Pharmaceutical Bio Association Holds Pharmaceutical Bio Education on GMP and Prescription Drugs

The Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association announced on the 12th that it will consecutively hold training sessions including statutory education for manufacturing (import) managers, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and ETC (ethical pharmaceuticals) pharmaceutical marketing education. The association plans to expand job training to advance a comprehensive education system throughout the pharmaceutical and bio-pharma industry lifecycle.


The association will conduct a total of eight sessions of pharmaceutical manufacturing (import) manager training, with seven sessions held online in real-time via Zoom and one session offline. The training schedule is organized as follows: ▲ Quasi-drugs (2/27?28), ▲ Raw materials and finished pharmaceuticals (4/3?4), ▲ Herbal medicine (5/22?23), ▲ Raw materials and finished pharmaceuticals (6/26?27), ▲ Quasi-drugs (7/24?25), ▲ Biological products (9/4?5), ▲ Quasi-drugs (10/23?24), and ▲ Raw materials and finished pharmaceuticals (11/27?28).


The first half of the year’s GMP training will be conducted simultaneously through offline and real-time online (Zoom) formats across 12 courses. The schedule includes: ▲ Introduction to GMP (3/6?7), ▲ GMP Quality Assurance (QA) (3/13?14), ▲ GMP Quality Control (QC) (3/20?21), ▲ Data Integrity (3/27?28), ▲ GMP Manufacturing Management (4/10?11), ▲ Introduction to Validation (4/17?18), ▲ GMP Manufacturing Support Management (Public Affairs) (5/15?16), ▲ Explanation of ICH Guidelines (Q series) (5/29?30), ▲ Advanced Validation (Aseptic Products) (6/5), ▲ Statistics (Practical) (6/12?13), ▲ Biopharmaceutical GMP (7/3?4), and ▲ Basic Technology Transfer (7/10?11). Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.


The 2025 first half pharmaceutical marketing education for ETC pharmaceutical marketing personnel will be divided into two lectures. The first lecture, “Understanding Pharmaceutical Marketing Processes and Market with SWOT Analysis,” will be held twice over two days each on March 11?12 and May 27?28.


The second lecture, “STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) for Effective Marketing: Strategy, Execution, and Monitoring,” will be held on April 8?9 and June 24?25. These sessions will be conducted offline at the association’s auditorium on the 4th floor in Seocho-gu, Seoul.


All these training sessions can be applied for through the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association’s education website (Integrated Education Center). The Integrated Education Center can be accessed via the association’s official website under 'Family Site → Education Center.'


Meanwhile, the association plans to strengthen job training in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharma industry starting this year and establish itself as a talent development hub. Accordingly, the existing education team is being expanded into the ‘Pharmaceutical Bio Academy,’ with ongoing efforts to diversify educational content, build an integrated online education platform, and advance job-specific training systems.
