[Weather] Jeongwol Daeboreum Nationwide Cloudy with Snow and Rain Forecast

On the 12th, the day of Jeongwol Daeboreum, the whole country will be mostly cloudy with rain or snow from dawn.

Gangwon inland and mountainous areas, northern Chungbuk, Jeolla region, northeastern inland Gyeongbuk, western inland Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island will experience snow or rain until the evening.

Expected snowfall amounts are 3 to 8 cm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, central and northern Chungbuk, Gangwon inland and mountainous areas, and northeastern inland and mountainous Gyeongbuk. Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, southern Chungbuk, and eastern Jeonbuk will see 1 to 5 cm, while the eastern coast of Gyeongbuk, Ulsan, and central inland Gyeongnam will have around 1 cm.

Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 10 mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, the five western islands, Gangwon inland and mountainous areas, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo, with less than 5 mm on the Gangwon east coast.

Morning low temperatures are expected to range from -4 to 6 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 2 to 12 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels will be 'Bad' in Seoul and Incheon, and 'Moderate' in other regions.

However, Gyeonggi Province is expected to have 'Bad' levels until the morning and temporarily again at night.

In the seas around Jeju Island and the eastern part of the southern sea, there may be gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning, so caution is advised for maritime safety accidents.
