Osan-si Implements 'Nuguna Dolbom Project'

Provision of Daily Life Care, Accompaniment Care, and Meal Support
All Citizens Eligible Regardless of Income

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province has been implementing the 'Care for Everyone Project' for citizens since this month. This project is a comprehensive care service that expands the existing care services focused on vulnerable groups, allowing all citizens in need to receive support according to their needs.

The services provided include three types: 'Daily Life Care,' which offers support such as cleaning, laundry, and companionship for citizens who have difficulty with daily activities; 'Accompaniment Care,' which provides mobility support such as hospital visits and outings; and 'Meal Support,' which supplies lunchboxes for balanced meals.

Any Osan citizen can use the service. Households with an income at or below 120% of the median income can use the service for up to 60 hours without any personal cost. Those with income between 120% and 150% of the median income receive 50% support. However, if the income exceeds 150% of the median income, the full cost must be borne by the user. Applications can be made through the local administrative welfare center of the resident’s jurisdiction or via Gyeonggi Minwon 24.

A city official stated, "Through the 'Care for Everyone Project,' we will do our best to ensure that any citizen can receive help whenever care is needed," adding, "We will continue to build a detailed care system to contribute to improving the quality of life for our citizens."
