bhc Chicken Operator Dining Brands Group Conducts Annual Open Recruitment... "Leading Job Creation"

Providing Stable Employment Opportunities for Young People Through Regularized Open Recruitment
Nurturing Next-Generation Food Service Talent Through Systematic Mentoring

Dining Brands Group, which operates bhc Chicken and Outback Steakhouse, announced on the 11th that it will actively engage in creating jobs for young people by conducting open recruitment for new employees every year.

Recently, as companies have been reducing regular open recruitment and expanding hiring focused on contract and experienced positions, the youth employment market has been shrinking. Dining Brands Group plans to regularize open recruitment for new employees to contribute to talent development and employment stability. Through this, the company aims to provide stable employment opportunities for young people along with sustainable corporate growth, and to nurture the next generation of talent who will lead the food service industry by offering opportunities to build practical skills on site.

In the open recruitment for new employees conducted last December, over 1,400 applicants applied across nine recruitment fields including ▲Marketing ▲Purchasing ▲Store Operations Management ▲Menu Development ▲Design ▲Human Resources (HRD) ▲Finance ▲Overseas Business ▲IT. Final candidates were selected through document screening, first-round practical interviews, and second-round executive interviews.

Dining Brands Group named the newly recruited employees “Young Diner” and started an onboarding program lasting about two weeks beginning with an orientation on the 10th. This program aims to provide new employees with opportunities to form camaraderie with colleagues through skill lectures that enhance necessary work competencies as office workers and collaborative missions. To operate a systematic training program that allows new employees to develop various capabilities, Dining Brands Group established a Talent Development Team last year.

Additionally, new employees visit brand stores operated by Dining Brands Group such as bhc, Outback Steakhouse, and Changgo43 to receive brand education and practical training, gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Moreover, new employees receive support to quickly adapt to the organizational culture and acquire work skills and expertise through a six-month in-house mentoring program. This is intended to provide practical assistance so that new employees can securely settle within the organization as members of Dining Brands Group.

A representative of Dining Brands Group stated, "We plan to continuously operate open recruitment so that young people can realize their dreams in the food service sector," adding, "We will nurture talent to lead the global food culture by providing systematic education and growth opportunities, and become a company that actively supports young people to establish themselves stably in society."
